Welcome to Sanphoeno.com, a web site about my routed slot car track building experiences. Here you will find many articles on designing and building tracks, scenery pieces, photo galleries and plenty of good information, gained from the planning and building of 4 routed slot car tracks.
My latest project is a single lane, single board, rally themed track. It is the second one I have built and is 50% bigger than the first one. I enjoyed the original rally track so much, I needed a bigger one !!!
Make sure you check out the photos and articles from my two previous tracks, The Autocross track and The Raceway. The Autocross track was one of the first tracks to offer 4 tracks in one through the use of lane and polarity switches.
The Raceway has been sold but the photos and documenting of this track can still be viewed here. Photos are available of the original 8x4ft rally track and the latest on the new 9x6ft track.
In November the second annual running of the Down Under Proxy Rally commences. This is a unique event for rally fans to enter a car and have it raced across 10 rally tracks around Australia. Keep up to date on all the DUPR news here.
